Asbestos Load Acceptance Requirements: In order for the landfill to accept loads containing asbestos, the following conditions must be met:

1. Proper Packaging: All asbestos waste must be double-wrapped and sealed in 6-mil thick plastic sheeting or equivalent material, as per regulatory guidelines.

 

2. Advance Notification: The landfill must be notified in advance of the delivery of asbestos-containing material. This ensures proper preparation for handling the hazardous waste.

 

3. Documentation: An asbestos manifest and all relevant regulatory documentation must accompany the load. This is required to confirm the source and classification of the asbestos waste.

 

4. Designated Disposal Area: Asbestos materials must be delivered to the designated disposal area within the landfill, as directed by landfill personnel.

 

5. Appointments Required: Due to the nature of asbestos disposal, deliveries of asbestos materials must be scheduled in advance. Please contact us to arrange a delivery time.
